Morning

 Join our guided tour of local farms surrounding Red Rocks, where they can engage with farmers growing organic vegetables, fruits, and herbs. You will learn about traditional farming methods, including organic pest control and soil fertility management.

Mid-Morning

 Join locals in handpicking fresh vegetable and seasonal produce to be used for meals later in the day. Midday, cook with our Local Chef under his guidance whereby you will be invited to cook traditional Rwandan dishes, including Isombe (cassava leaves stew), Ibihaza (pumpkin and beans stew), and grilled Brochettes. The chef will explain traditional Rwandan cooking techniques, including using clay pots and wood-fired stoves, offering a hands-on cooking class, after which you will enjoy the meals you prepared together with the locals, an opportunity to learn about the cultural significance of different dishes and ingredients, and to enjoy a communal eating experience.
